Kaveri Jha Film Gossips

Kaveri Jha, who gave Telugu audience’s sleepless nights with her performance in the Srikanth starrer Nagaram, is now ready to storm Bollywood. Touted as the next big thing to hit Bollywood, she has acted in Hijack (Hindi) opposite Shiney Ahuja, which didn't do too well.

With three movies are ready to release, she will definitely come to the notice of Hindi audiences and become a national sensation. Right now, ex-air hostess Kaveri Jha has around five films on hand in the South.

Kaveri Jha is also starring opposite Sivaji in Naa Girl Friend Baaga Rich, directed by M. Nagendra Kumar and produced by Kumar Brothers. This film too will release some time in December 2008 or January 2009. This is Kaveri Jha's second Telugu movie after Jagapathi Babu's Nagaram.

The Hindi adaptation of the Iranian movie Children of Heaven directed by Priyadarshan, Bum Bum Bole, sees Kaveri in the role of Atul Kulkarni's sister. Atul plays Darsheel Jaffery's father and Rituparna Sengupta plays his mother.

The sexy and vivacious Kaveri Jha who was last seen in Hijack opposite Shiney Ahuja was mistaken for a farm hand and villager in Ooty and even reprimanded asked to “get to work quickly”

Kaveri was mistaken for a farm hand. "Around mid-November, I was shooting in the fields of Ooty for a Tamil movie," she says, "My costumes and the outfit I was wearing were so natural and looked real, like any of the women working in the fields nearby. During a break in the shoot, I went for a walk to breathe some fresh air. I was walking around some fields when a farm supervisor approached me and rebuked me in Tamil. I didn't understand much but it was quite clear that he was scolding me for not working and rambling around. It took him a full five minutes to realize that I was an actress and not a local!!"
